Privacy Policy

Animal English is an educational app for exploring animal names, images, sounds, pronunciations, and encyclopedia content. The app does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personal information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Animal English ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Animal English mobile application (the "App").
2. Information We Do Not Request
The current version of the App does not:
- require account registration or login;
- ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details;
- request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files;
- include advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs; or
- sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising.
3. Information Processed When You Use the App
The App connects to an online service to download animal categories, animal details, images, pronunciation recordings, animal sounds, and encyclopedia text or audio. As with most Internet services, the following limited information may be processed automatically:

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. Local Storage and Caching
Animal content may be held temporarily in the App's memory to improve performance and allow recently viewed category content to remain available during temporary network failures. Audio playback and the operating system may also use temporary buffers or caches. The App does not create a user profile or intentionally store a history of the animals you view. Temporary data may be removed by closing the App, clearing the App's storage, or uninstalling it, depending on your device and operating system.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell or rent personal information. Limited technical information may be processed by infrastructure and media-hosting providers solely to transmit the content requested by the App. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users, or to secure and defend the App and its services.
6. Data Retention
The App itself does not maintain user accounts or a persistent activity history. Temporary in-app cache data is retained only as described above. Server and hosting providers may retain limited technical logs for security, troubleshooting, and service operation for a period appropriate to those purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized where reasonably practicable.
7. Children's Privacy
The App can be used as an educational resource by families and children, but it does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children. A child should use the App with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App or its services, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect the App and its services. However, no Internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your operating system and the App updated to the latest available version.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can stop all App-related network processing by discontinuing use and uninstalling the App. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about processing. Because the App does not use accounts, we may need enough information to verify and locate any relevant server record before responding to a request.
10. International Processing
The online services and hosting providers used to deliver App content may operate in countries other than your own. As a result, limited technical information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the App, its store listing, or another appropriate channel where required.
